This privacy policy explains how Headstrong Internet Services Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal data when you visit headsnet.com or get in touch with us through it.

Headstrong Internet Services Ltd is a limited company registered in England & Wales under company number 06500823, and is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.

headsnet.com is a static marketing and blog site. It has no user accounts, no logins, and no e-commerce - the only personal data we collect is what you choose to send us through the contact form, plus some anonymous analytics about how the site is used.

What data we collect, and why

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis: legitimate interest - responding to enquiries people send us - and, where your enquiry relates to work you’re asking us to do, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Spam protection

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from a real person rather than a bot. Turnstile processes your IP address and sets a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie to complete this check. See our cookie policy for details.

Legal basis: legitimate interest - keeping the site secure and free of spam.

Analytics

We use Matomo, a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool, to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are popular and what kind of device people are using). Matomo does not set cookies and does not track you across other websites. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually, and it is never combined with contact form submissions.

What we don’t do

To be clear about the boundaries of this policy: we don’t operate user accounts or logins, use advertising or retargeting cookies, sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes, or carry out any automated decision-making or profiling. We don’t ask for or knowingly collect any special category data (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, or religious belief), and this site is not directed at children.

Who we share data with

• Mailjet (Sinch) - delivers the contact form email to us. Mailjet is used only to transmit the message; we don’t retain your data within Mailjet itself.
• Cloudflare - provides Turnstile spam protection and hosts the site (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare is a global provider and may process data outside the UK; where it does, this is covered by Cloudflare’s own standard contractual safeguards. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t share it with data brokers, credit reference agencies, or anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep data

Contact form messages are kept in our mailbox for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with your enquiry and for our own business records, and are deleted once no longer needed. Matomo analytics data is kept only for as long as it’s useful for understanding site trends, and is periodically deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data where there’s no good reason for us to keep it.
• Restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Complain to the ICO if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data.
