Full product lifecycle

I typically work across the full lifecycle of a project, not just the build. That starts with discovery and planning, understanding what you’re trying to achieve and who will use the system day to day, all before a line of code gets written!

From there I design, build and test the application, handle deployments, and stay involved with ongoing support rather than handing over a finished product and disappearing!

Existing and legacy systems

Where you already have systems in place, whether that’s an existing database, a third-party API, or internal tools your team depends on, I build applications that lean on these existing tools rather than asking you to replace them.

Alternatively, if you are aiming to phase out a legacy system, I can plan strategies to gradually phase out old behaviour and elegantly divert users to newly built functionality, all without any big-bang switchover.
